Guy Falconer is in his 16th year of teaching. After spending the last 6 years at the American
School of Milan, Italy, Guy brings to Sage International School a rich international and
Middle Years Programme experience. He is a certified K-8 secondary English and humanities
teacher, as well as being certificated K-12 in physical education. Guy is currently enrolled with University of Phoenix and is working on his Master’s in Education with a curriculum and instruction focus.
While at ASM, Guy created a Design Technology program in which students designed, created and built a variety of projects for the art department, theatre department, staff requested items and long term school projects. Guy is carrying on that experience here at Sage teaching Design Technology to the middle school students. You will see the projects start to emerge around the school as the students’ skills grow. He will also be team teaching science and humanities.
He and his wife, Leigh, chose to relocate to Boise to be near family. Leigh is currently working for the Boise School District as a Librarian’s assistant at Riverglen Junior High School. They have 2 boys; Ian is attending Boise State University studying theatre design management, Colin is attending Seattle University studying history and philosophy.
