Trina Sego is a Professor of Marketing at Boise State University. Trina received her MA and PhD degrees from Purdue University and The University of Texas at Austin. Prior to coming to Boise State, Trina served on the faculties of Pennsylvania State University, Washington State University, and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She regularly teaches consumer behavior, marketing communication, qualitative research and branding strategy at the undergraduate, graduate and executive levels. Her research, some of which explores consumer behavior in families, has appeared in such publications as Journal of Consumer Behaviour, Journal of Marketing Theory and Practice, Advances in International Marketing, and Advances in Consumer Research. She serves on the editorial review boards for The Journal of Advertising and the International Journal of Advertising. Trina enjoys cooking, travel and spending time with her husband and two children. She feels lucky to have visited 12 countries outside of the U.S. and hopes to someday add Portugal and Vietnam to the list.
